My name is  Maria Penela, a printmaker and designer from Spain, currently living in sunny California with my husband and two daughters, Lola and Ellie.

My career started years ago while living in the country side of Spain I realized that I could express my deep connection to nature through art. Since then, I’ve earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and explored different disciplines and techniques across various cities and countries.

Nowadays, my family and I call LA our home, and I continue to pour my heart and soul into my work as a printmaker and pattern designer. Whenever I’m not busy with work, you can usually spot me wandering around the neighborhood with the girls, searching for new inspiration for my designs.
